Job summary

Honda of Ames, part of Lithia & Driveway, seeks an energetic automotive sales professional to work in Ames, IA. The role requires open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with pay discussions during in-person interviews.

You will greet customers, present vehicles, perform demonstrations, manage CRM leads, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Service, and Parts to ensure a seamless buying experience.

Qualifications

• Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to guide customers through a purchase decision.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand vehicle needs, budget, and preferences.
• Present new and pre-owned vehicles, features, technology, and available programs.
• Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives to support purchase decisions.
• Manage leads, appointments, and customer follow-up through the CRM.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory, pricing, incentives, and product updates.
• Guide customers through the sales process from initial conversation to vehicle delivery.
• Partner with Sales Managers, Finance, and dealership teams to provide a smooth customer experience.
