Job summary

L0190 Honda of Ames in Ames, IA is seeking a motivated lube technician to perform oil changes, inspections, and basic maintenance, while delivering honest value and courteous service.

You will work with a team, adhere to dealership standards, and grow within Lithia Motors’ nationwide network, with opportunities in parts, service, and customer care.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems.
• Experience as an express or quick lube technician (preferred).
• Ability to operate manual and automatic vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Team-first mindset with a passion for customer service.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance such as oil and filter changes.
• Complete full vehicle inspections including tires, brakes, and fluids.
• Identify and communicate repair recommendations to service advisors.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer service standards.
