The dealership operates from a state-of-the-art facility opened in December 2015 and serves customers across Eastern North Carolina for both sales and service needs. We are a family-owned dealership that has been in business for over 55 years. The store also features a high-performing internet sales team, providing convenient online support and information for shoppers.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Automotive Sales Professional role is based at our dealership location in Charlotte, NC. The Automotive Sales Professional is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and guiding them through the sales process from initial consultation to final delivery. Daily tasks include presenting and demonstrating vehicles, explaining features and pricing, preparing accurate sales paperwork, and coordinating test drives and follow-up appointments. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, responding to internet and phone inquiries, supporting customer retention efforts, and collaborating with the finance and service teams to ensure a smooth and satisfying experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Automotive Sales skills, with the ability to recommend vehicles that match customer needs and budgets.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, focusing on clear communication, professionalism, and a positive dealership experience.
• Candidates should possess Customer Retention capabilities, including consistent follow-up, relationship building, and long-term client support.
• Prior experience in automotive sales or retail sales is beneficial, along with basic understanding of financing and trade-in processes.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, comfort working in a commission-based environment, and the ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in sales or automotive fields is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a variety of vehicles.
