LaFontaine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fenton is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant to help customers explore and purchase new or used vehicles. You will demonstrate vehicle features, qualify buyers, and work toward closing sales on the showroom floor and lot.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
• Sales, hospitality, or customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers on the sales floor and determines desired vehicle make/type.
• Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicles in showroom or on road.
• Suggests optional equipment for customers to purchase.
• Researches availability of models and optional equipment.
• Consults with Sales Manager to quote price, including tax, trade-in, license, and financing terms.
• Prepares sales paperwork (sales slip, credit application, etc.).
• Delivers new vehicle and ensures customer understands features, warranty and paperwork.
• Maintains a prospect development system.
• Stays knowledgeable about new products and features.
• Attends sales meetings and training; adheres to policies.
• Meets or exceeds forecasted sales numbers.
