Job summary

Classic Nissan in Sanford, NC is seeking a Sales Associate / Product Knowledge Specialist to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales goals throughout the vehicle-buying process. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them from initial contact to vehicle delivery.

You will use deep product knowledge to educate customers on features and options, conduct needs analysis, arrange test drives, and follow up to close deals while building lasting relationships

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record, clean background check and must pass drug screening test.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Conduct needs analysis to determine customer's vehicle preferences and budget.
• Utilize product knowledge to educate customers on vehicle features and benefits.
• Demonstrate vehicle functionality and assist with test drives.
• Follow-up with customers to answer questions and address concerns.
• Negotiate and close sales contracts with customers.
• Stay up-to-date on new products and features, as well as automotive industry trends.
• Achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction ratings.
