DARCARS Lanham Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to lead the New & Used Sales Departments. You will forecast goals, manage a team, and align sales efforts with dealership objectives to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching staff, coordinating with service and parts, attending management meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Automotive sales experience is required.
• 2 years of experience working in sales management.
• Experience managing groups and teams.
• Mentality that no job is too small.
• Ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of sales staff.
• Directs New and Used salespeople to enhance dealership image and customer satisfaction.
• Attend managers’ meetings and forecast controllable expense elements.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting vehicle sales.
• Maintain accurate sales records daily and monthly.
