Job summary

Del Grande Dealer Group (DGDG) in the Bay Area is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to oversee the profitability of the dealership's variable operations. You will coach the sales team, lead showroom activities and mentor desk managers to drive performance.

Responsibilities include hiring and motivating New/Used sales staff, Internet Sales, Finance Managers and Service Drive, strengthening the CRM follow-up, and achieving monthly and annual targets while maintaining high CSI and customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Sales Manager experience with responsibility for the entire variable operation of a successful dealership.
• Proven history of building and training a sales team, strong CSI scores and above average gross and net departmental profits.
• Extensive background in leading a BDC department; experience in showroom and internet traffic, SEO/SEM and marketing.

• Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for dealership and OEM sales, gross and expenses monthly and annually.

As aSales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the profitability of the dealership by managing variable operations.

What you'll be working on:

• Mentor new and experienced sales reps on standard methodologies for improving performance
• Ensure proper follow up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM system
• Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for dealership and OEM sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis

What you need to bring to the table:

• Minimum 2 years of Sales Manager experience with responsibility for the entire variable operation of a successful dealership
• Possess successful history of building and training a sales team, strong CSI scores and above average gross and net departmental profits
• Strong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM, direct mail and other traditional media
• Extensive background in leading a BDC department
• Some experience in Used Vehicle purchasing, merchandising, and marketing
• Expertise in supervising the everyday efforts of desk managers and improving F&I income through mentorship and training

Salary: $84,000 - $240,000/annually

*Pay is based on applicable experience and skills. This job is eligible for commissions based on individual sales metrics.
