We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to lead a sales team to create an exceptional experience for customers. This role is responsible for selecting, training, coaching, developing and retaining the very best Sales Associates for Marina del Rey Toyota. You are responsible for driving a high level of performance among the sales team to increase market share, achieve targeted unit sales and profit margins while giving every customer a “truly exceptional” sales experience.

The Sales Desk Manager Position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include a base salary compensation of $5,550.00. The position also pays a bonus based on the department's performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

Responsibilities

• Lead your sales team in a way that supports Marina del Rey Toyota’s vision and mission.
• Set clear objectives and goals for the sales team to achieve their targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and gross profit.
• Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations, and Marina del Rey Toyota’s best practices.
• Drive the business through a high level of involvement in day‑to‑day operations.
• Manage the negotiation process with sales associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing.
• Appraise vehicles for trade.
• Partner with the general manager and general sales manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory.
• Analyze the business to determine shortfalls and develop action plans to improve performance.
