Job summary

AutoNation, one of the nation’s largest automotive retailers, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive growth in new and used vehicle sales. You will hire, train, coach, and retain top sales associates while maximizing profits and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Your leadership will set the showroom’s vision, align goals with corporate standards, and mentor staff to excel in both showroom and e-commerce channels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven success in auto retail sales.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Experience using technology in sales processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the sales team to achieve targeted vehicle sales and profits.
• Set clear vision and goals for the showroom and online channels.
• Motivate team to meet performance expectations and best practices.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and customer interactions in showroom, online, and phone channels.
• Collaborate with General Manager to plan inventory and pricing strategies.
• Manage controllable expenses for the department.
• Analyze sales performance and implement improvement actions.
