Job summary

Hertz is hiring for a role in Riverside, CA to manage the store inventory, including reconditioning, photography, delivery, and lot organization. You’ll coordinate with vendors and the Fleet team to optimize stock and merchandising, and ensure on-time vehicle delivery.

A strong work history in auto dealerships with a valid license is preferred. The position offers hourly pay at $17.00/hr with overtime eligibility, holiday pay, PTO, and a range of Hertz benefits including medical, dental, vision,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Auto dealerships and car sales preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory intake, reconditioning, photography, delivery and lot organization.
• Coordinate with reconditioning vendors and Fleet Mgt partner on production planning.
• Ensure proper inventory controls and timely vehicle merchandising.
• Deliver vehicles within required SLAs and set up trucking if needed.

Job description

A Day in the Life:

Manage the entire store inventory process including, reconditioning, photography, delivery, lot organization and merchandising

What You'll Get:

• Hourly Rate / Wage is $17.00/hr + eligible for bonus incentives!
• Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime)
• Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)
• Sick Pay: Granted Up To 48 hours
• Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)

What You’ll Do:

Inventory

1. Ensure all incoming vehicles properly checked in
2. Triage new inventory as it enters lot
3. Manage an efficient reconditioning process, cost, quality and cycle times
4. Work closely with reconditioning vendors
5. Interact with Fleet Mgt partner (Wheels)
6. Maintain proper internal inventory controls
7. Work with fleet team to maintain target inventory levels
8. Work closely with GSM on daily production planning

Lot Organization

1. Develop and maintain proper lot organization to facilitate efficient processes
2. Oversee proper vehicle merchandising
3. Create visual factory

Photography

1. Insure all cars are properly photographed and appearing online per standards
2. Reduce rejects and kicked cars
3. Follow up and promptly close all open items on the partner dashboard
4. Handle all communications from partners

Delivery

1. Ensure vehicles are delivered within time SLAs
2. Set up trucking, if required

What We’re Looking For:

Educational Background:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Professional Experience:

• Experience in Auto dealerships and car sales
• Valid Drivers’ License and a clean record
