Job summary

Duke City Auto LLC in Gallup, NM is hiring Sales Consultants. Entry level or experienced candidates are invited to apply. Your pay is a by-product of your efforts as you work toward a minimum quota.

We offer training and a starting wage of $13 per hour plus commission. You will greet customers, assist with vehicle selection, close deals, and deliver vehicles, while maintaining strong product knowledge and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
• Possess strong product knowledge and ability to build customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the lot and in the dealership showroom.
• Assist customers with vehicle selection and closing.
• Present vehicle information, pricing and incentives to customers.
• Complete all paperwork and deliver the vehicle to the customer.
• Meet daily phone and email quota and respond to inquiries.
• Follow up with customers to establish referrals and a strong network.

We offer:

• Training provided

• Build rapport with customers to build a base of referrals to establish customer network
• Perform test drives and present vehicle product information, pricing and incentives
• Complete all paperwork
• Close the deal and deliver vehicle to customer
• Utilize dealership control and follow-up system and procedures
• Follow-up with customer
• Answer sales calls and respond to internet inquiries
• Meet daily phone and email quota
• Some Sales experience Welcomed, not Required. Great salespeople have come from different backgrounds: Industrial or manufacturing sales, retail sales, insurance sales, or rental car associates, to name a few.
• Must possess extensive product knowledge
• Be able to create and maintain customer relationships
• Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, CRM, VinSolutions, Autotrader)
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Maintain professional business attire and appearance
• Self-starter and ability to be a great team player
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
