Job summary

Maplecrest Ford of Mendham is seeking a motivated Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll help customers find the right new or pre-owned vehicle and guide them through the purchasing process from start to finish.

We provide training and support to help you succeed. We offer competitive pay with base salary plus commission and bonuses, plus benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision, PTO, paid training, and employee discounts on vehicles and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Comfortable using technology; training provided on dealership tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, building rapport and understanding their needs
• Help customers select the right vehicle based on wants, needs, and budget
• Present and explain vehicle features, performance, benefits, and options
• Offer and coordinate test drives, verifying proper identification
• Achieve sales goals as outlined by the sales manager
• Follow up with prospects and customers to encourage repeat and referral business
• Review performance regularly to improve results and time management
