Jay Hatfield Chevrolet in Columbus, KS is seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is ambitious, with excellent interpersonal skills and a drive to meet and exceed goals.

You will build client relationships, explain vehicle features, and guide customers to the best product solutions. We offer a weekly guarantee, a strong commission potential, benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours including Saturdays.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and create customers for life; assist in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to responses.
• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers and responding to inquiries.
• Demonstrates vehicles by explaining features, taking drives, and clarifying warranties and services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections and guiding customers to purchase contracts.
• Meet sales goals and become the vehicle expert on offerings and options.
• Perform demonstrations of new/used vehicles and follow up with buyers for referrals.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
• Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
• Close sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts
• Meeting Sales Goals
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
• Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours & Saturdays
• Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s
• Fantastic communication skills with your customers
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Valid Driver's License
