Job summary

SONS Automotive Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Associate to guide customers through the buying process and deliver a premium showroom experience. You will develop product knowledge, demonstrate vehicles, and handle delivery while ensuring customers understand features, warranties, and paperwork.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of automotive sales and customer service experience, with luxury background preferred, and possess strong communication, negotiation, and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Two-to-four-year college degree preferred
• 2-5 years automotive sales and customer service experience required
• Luxury automotive sales background preferred
• Knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations
• Phenomenal communication skills, organization and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license required and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and work ethic

Responsibilities

• Sale Associates take the customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps, policies and procedures
• Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features
• Demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test drive
• Provide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork
• Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long-term clientele
• Develop a prospecting system making calls, sending emails and videos to potential customers to set appointments to perspective clients
• Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis

We are only looking for experienced dealer level applicants. 2-5 years of automotive sales and customer service experience required. Luxury automotive sales background preferred. The pay plan is the best in the metro for motivated individuals. 5-day work week, we are closed on Sundays.
