Automotive Sales Assistant Manager / Manager in Training (MIT)

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager is a positive, high-energy, customer-focused role that offers opportunities for personal and professional growth within the tire and automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Assess customer needs and recommend Belle Tire solutions
  • Follow Belle Tire's Sales Process
  • Manage cash drawer operations and daily reconciliation
  • Oversee workflow in the service department
  • Meet and exceed sales and performance goals
  • Handle retail paperwork and administrative tasks
  • Participate in opening and closing store procedures as a key holder
  • Assist in coaching, managing, and developing staff
  • Assist with employee scheduling, hiring, and employee relations
  • Manage inventory and facility maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop, showroom, and restrooms
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive attitude
  • Prioritize customer, employee, and vendor satisfaction
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues, management, and customers
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Flexible work hours including some weekends and overtime; physical work in a workshop environment with long periods of standing
