Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in investigating equipment failure modes.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing statistical data.
• Automotive industry experience in safety/design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety, compliance and regulatory concerns on Hyundai and Genesis models.
• Prepare cases and present issues for committee review.
• Draft case presentations for management review.
• Track and manage cases to meet KPIs including response and deadlines.
• Identify safety-related defects and FMVSS non-compliances.
• Support the Case Management Tool and SDAI development.
• Collaborate with Safety Data Analytics team and liaise with design/manufacturing.
• Travel as needed for industry meetings and field investigations.
