Job summary
Magna International seeks a Robotics Specialist Engineer to analyze and resolve complex robotics, stamping press, and MIG welding issues across automotive seat manufacturing. You will diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical failures in robotic systems, configure presses, and program PLCs/HMI to boost productivity.
Qualified candidates have 3+ years in industrial maintenance or robotics, with experience in Keyence, Balluff sensors, Profinet/Profibus, and various welding and automation
Qualifications
- 36 months of related experience as Industrial Maintenance Technician or Robotics Specialist Engineer.
- Experience analyzing robotics, stamping presses and MIG welding in automotive manufacturing.
- Ability to program PLCs and HMIs and work with Profinet/Profibus/DeviceNet networks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex robotics, stamping press, and MIG welding issues using simulation tools.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electronics and hardware failures in robotic systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic presses and actuators.
- Perform PLC and HMI programming to improve cycle times and productivity.
- Maintain equipment records and support safety and quality goals.
