Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automotive dealership management experience.
• 3+ years in a General Manager or senior leadership role preferred.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving financial and CSI goals.
• Strong understanding of dealership financial statements and operational performance metrics.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Experience with dealership management systems (Dealertrack, CDK, or similar).
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all dealership departments (Sales, Service, Parts, F&I, and Accounting).
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales, service, and profitability goals.
• Foster a customer-first culture, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all departments.
• Hire, train, and develop department managers and key staff members.
• Oversee dealership financial performance, reviewing statements, expense controls, and department metrics with department heads.
• Ensure full compliance with manufacturer requirements, company policies, and legal standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturer representatives and local community partners.
• Lead by example in promoting Knight Automotive Group’s Core Values — accountability, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with group leadership on strategy, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe facility that reflects the company’s high standards.
