Job Responsibilities and Duties:

PRIMARY

• Accurately Completing Services and Repairs on Customer Vehicles: Technicians are expected to be experts in their craft and to complete services and repairs with excellence, integrity, precision, and care.
• Partner with Office Staff to Achieve Sales Goals: Inspect each vehicle and quote necessary repairs and services. Occasionally, technicians will work directly with customers to explain vehicle conditions and answer questions about services or repairs.

SECONDARY

• Quality Control: Perform quality checks for fellow technicians and clean vehicles if needed, following company procedures.
• Cleaning & Prep: Assist in maintaining a clean, safe shop environment free of debris and hazards.

Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Valid US Driver's License, insurable on the shop insurance policy, with the ability to drive with passengers.
• At least 1 year of practical experience as an automotive technician.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to stand for up to 60 minutes.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Proficiency in performing mechanical repairs, including removing and reinstalling parts, and conducting vehicle inspections.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics using diagnostic trees and testing procedures.
• Understanding of passenger automobile systems and workings.
