OERTZENGroup is seeking an R&D Engineer to drive automotive product development from initial concept to series production. You will collaborate across design, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and cost-targeted solutions that meet customer specs and schedules.
The role emphasizes mechanical design, material property evaluation, and process understanding, including injection molding.
Competenze
- Bachelor's or higher in mechanical/automotive/manufacturing engineering.
- At least 5 years in automotive product development.
- Experience managing projects from concept to production.
- Knowledge of mechanical design, materials, and processes incl. injection molding.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination.
Mansioni
- Develop and engineer products from concept through series production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet specifications and timelines.
- Evaluate materials and manufacturing processes for quality and cost targets.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures.
