Job summary

Oetiker is seeking an Engineering role to support the design, testing, validation, and implementation of new and existing products. You will work with Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and other teams to translate customer and product requirements into manufacturable solutions.

The position offers growth opportunities across multiple experience levels, with collaboration across global sites and suppliers to ensure robust product development and successful launches.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
• Experience with 3D CAD and engineering drawings is required or preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 or ISO 14001 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of new products and related assemblies.
• Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings; manage BOMs.
• Support tolerance evaluations, design reviews, and product improvements.
• Coordinate prototype builds and assist with evaluation.
• Plan and perform product testing and validation activities.
• Document test results and prepare engineering reports.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality for product launches and process development.
• Assist with customer-specific product modifications and development projects.
• Maintain information within SAP and other systems.
• Communicate project status, risks, and findings to cross-functional teams.
• Travel to customers and suppliers as required.
