Bosch Mobility Aftermarket is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead design and development of plastic components for automotive applications. This role emphasizes advanced manufacturing processes, CAD tooling, and rigorous documentation within a global engineering team.

You will drive CAD models in SolidWorks/Creo, manage ERP-related data in SAP, and ensure on-time, on-spec delivery while applying GD&T, FMEA, and DFM principles.

Qualifications

• BSME in mechanical engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong CAD skills with SolidWorks or Creo and PDM experience.
• Experience with GD&T, FMEA, and BOM management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Baan).
• Understanding of manufacturability (DfM) and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilités

• Direct the design and development of plastic components using injection molding, thermal forming, and additive manufacturing.
• Translate 2D designs into 3D CAD and verify manufacturability with mold flow analysis.
• Develop tooling solutions meeting customer specs using GD&T, CAD, FMEA, and analysis.
• Maintain CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks/Creo and Windchill.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to coordinate design initiatives.
• Maintain project docs: design reviews, wiring diagrams, prints.
• Manage ERP-based component creation in SAP and handle ECR processes.
• Ensure on-time, on-spec delivery; perform other duties as assigned.
