Qualifikationen

• Vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Quality Technician in a high-volume manufacturing environment (automotive BIW preferred).
• Proficiency using a wide range of measurement tools.
• Ability to interpret part drawings, material, and engineering specifications.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO9001, AS9100, ISO13485, ISO16949, ISO31000).
• Works well independently and with others.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Aufgaben

• Inspect incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, etc.) for accurate part measurement.
• Assist in validation and verification of new designs and processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through coaching or direct ownership of resolutions.
• Perform detailed process audits and drive targeted improvements.
• Provide technical support to engineering and production to ensure QC compliance.
• Maintain accurate data and records of work performed.
• Learn through training or on-the-job training for calibration, CMM programming, and quality audits.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
