Job summary
Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Quality Systems Engineer for a major automotive facility in Toledo, OH. The role focuses on supporting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives through new process implementations and ongoing process improvement.
Typical duties include CMM programming, metrology data analysis, PPAP submissions, calibration management, and continuous improvement initiatives, with a 1st shift and potential overtime.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming, dimensional metrology, GD&T interpretation, and measurement analysis.
- Experience with customer and supplier PPAP processes, APQP, engineering change management, and AIAG Core Tools.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or CQE preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CMM programs, perform dimensional analysis, and provide measurement data for validation.
- Coordinate PPAP submissions, approvals, and revalidations with customers and suppliers.
- Lead calibration, testing, and inspection processes, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
- Drive continuous improvement through audits, PFMEAs, control plans, and data analysis.
