Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Line Lead to supervise and develop hourly associates at the Inspection Center. You will ensure safe car movement, meet production and quality goals, and coach team members to improve performance and adherence to Carvana values.

Responsibilities include leading daily operations, coordinating with the Inspection Center General Manager on repairs and quality, and training staff to minimize re-work while maintaining high-volume output in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using computers.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center to meet production and quality goals.
• Meet or exceed inventory production goals daily, weekly and monthly.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the assigned team; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coach and develop team members; provide feedback and performance management.
• Create a work environment that supports communication, cohesion, and Carvana values.
• Proactively communicate expectations and performance metrics to team members.
• Lead a team of production associates and partner with the Inspection Center GM to assess repairs and quality.
• Train team using Quality Control standards to minimize re-checks and delays.
