Job summary

industrialfabricators is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure metal-mechanic automotive components meet customer specs and internal standards. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, document results, and support audits in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and maintaining traceability within quality systems. Collaboration with production and engineering teams is essential to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification in metal mechanics or related field.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing quality control.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of metal components.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability.
• Prepare inspection reports and NCR documentation.
• Monitor production processes for quality adherence.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and support audits.
