The inspector will perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using a variety of measuring tools and inspection equipment, and will document results and identify defects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive manufacturing, machining, quality inspection, or production.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain traceability.

Responsibilities

• Inspect automotive axles, splines, and related components for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Perform visual inspections for defects, damage, burrs, and surface imperfections.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and height gauges.
• Verify parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Record inspection results and communicate quality issues to supervisors.
