Job summary

Complex Fabricators Inc. is seeking a responsible Quality Inspector to maintain high quality standards by approving outgoing materials, products, and production procedures, and by recording quality results.

The role requires strong attention to detail and experience in ISO9001/AS9100 settings. The candidate should have hands-on experience with GD&T, AS9102 First Article Inspections, and precision measuring instruments, including CMM and PCDMIS software.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of GD&T per ASME 14.5-2009.
• Experience reading blueprints and instructions to determine quality requirements.
• Proven experience as a mechanical quality inspector in an ISO9001/AS9100 environment.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments including CMM and portable arms.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, specifications, and instructions to determine quality requirements.
• Perform First-Article, In-process, and Final Inspections and release finished product for delivery.
• Update knowledge through educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Support quality objectives by completing related inspection and documentation tasks.

We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to maintain our standards of quality by approving outgoing material and products as well as production procedures and recording quality results. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our business.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment, have significant mechanical inspection experience, possess a trained eye for detail, and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge of quality standards is essential. This position will provide great opportunity to an individual looking to expand their career further with a growing company.

Position Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, specifications, and instructions to determine the quality requirements for the product.
• Perform and document First-Article, In-process, and Final Inspections, communicate required adjustments to production personnel, and release finished product for delivery.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
• Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Position Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of GD&T (ASME 14.5-2009)
• Working knowledge of welding symbols
• Experience in preparing AS9102B First Article Inspections Reports
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments
• Proven experience and proficiency as a mechanical quality inspector
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
• CMM and/or Portable Arm with PCDMISsoftware experience
