Job summary

Exemplar Global in Cleveland is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer for a high-volume automotive manufacturing operation. The role focuses on supplier quality, new product launches, engineering changes, PPAPs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, SPC, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong Tier 1 automotive experience with working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, Poka‑Yoke, and supplier development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing and supplier-focused quality roles.
• Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC.
• Familiarity with Poka-Yoke and supplier development processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality initiatives in a high-volume automotive environment.
• Support PPAPs, engineering changes and APQP activities with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans and SPC charts for key processes.
• Drive continuous improvement projects with suppliers and internal teams.
