Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 2+ years in automotive engineering, quality, manufacturing or related.
• Ability to read drawings, understand GD&T, and work with 3D visualization software.
• Understanding of SPC or statistical data analysis.
• Strong critical thinking, independent judgement and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to rotate shifts occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to daily project requests and prioritize work.
• Manage complex tasks with minimal input from supervisor.
• Perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Apply Red X problem solving and other quality tools.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support launches, audits, and process improvements at the plant.
• Coordinate system/process audits at plant and supplier facilities.
