Top Dog Recruiting seeks a Plant Quality Engineer to support quality functions in the automotive sector at our Wilson, NC facility. This role conducts quality reviews of design documentation for compliance with customer and company requirements and leads quality improvements.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA and recent automotive experience, with knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Must have BS/BA degree and recent automotive industry experience.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Systems required.
• Experience with APQP and PPAP processes.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills required.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Use AIAG tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC) to resolve quality issues.
• Manage internal and external quality concerns; Pareto analysis of defects.
• Investigate customer complaints and support customer quality systems.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities and CAPA implementation.
• Support IATF 16949 activities and supplier quality management.
• Create and maintain PPAP status with customers; review holds.
