Top Echelon Software, LLC in Wilson, NC seeks a Plant Quality Engineer to support quality functions, conduct design documentation reviews, and ensure compliance with customer requirements. You will apply AIAG tools, manage holds, and drive continuous improvement across internal and external quality concerns with a focus on automotive standards.
The role requires a BS/BA degree, recent automotive experience, and knowledge of IATF 16949.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Recent automotive industry experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Systems is required.
- Experience with APQP processes and PPAP is preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
Responsabilidades
- Apply core AIAG quality tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC).
- Manage internal and external quality concerns and Pareto analyses.
- Investigate customer complaints and support continuous improvement.
- Support IATF 16949 activities and supplier quality management.
- Create and maintain PPAP status and review disposition of on-hold products.
- Lead audits, corrective actions, and problem solving (8D, 5Why).
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Leaders to drive quality improvements.
