EPITEC is seeking an experienced Automotive Supplier Quality Engineer to join our interior supplier quality team in the Dearborn area. You will be hands-on on the plant floor, collaborating with suppliers to improve quality, solve manufacturing issues, and drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in automotive supplier quality with APQP/PPAP knowledge and hands-on manufacturing experience in stamping, welding, thermoforming, or injection molding.

Qualificações

• 3–5+ years of automotive manufacturing, supplier quality, advanced quality, process, or launch experience
• Strong APQP & PPAP knowledge with hands-on experience
• Hands-on plant-floor manufacturing experience
• Experience with stamping, welding, thermoforming and/or injection molding
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action experience
• Ability to assess a manufacturing process and identify quality concerns
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Experience with Cross Car Beams (CCBs), carpets, NVH/acoustic insulators, heat shields, or similar interior components would be valuable

I’m looking for an experienced Automotive Supplier Quality Engineer to join an interior supplier quality team in the Dearborn area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in a manufacturing environment. This is not a desk-only quality role. You’ll be working directly with suppliers, walking the plant floor, evaluating manufacturing processes, troubleshooting quality concerns, and helping drive issues through containment, root cause, and corrective action.

What you’ll be doing:

What we’re looking for:

3-5+ years of automotive manufacturing, supplier quality, advanced quality, process, or launch experience

Strong APQP & PPAP knowledge with the ability to speak to your hands-on experience

Hands-on plant-floor manufacturing experience

Experience with stamping, welding, thermoforming and/or injection molding

Strong root cause analysis and corrective action experience

Ability to assess a manufacturing process and confidently identify potential quality concerns

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field

Experience with Cross Car Beams (CCBs), carpets, NVH/acoustic insulators, heat shields, or similar automotive interior components would be especially valuable.

Travel:

Frequent travel to supplier sites, potentially up to 70%
