Job summary

The International Automotive Components (IAC) Group is seeking a Quality CMM Operator to ensure precision of automotive components using CMM, FARO Arm, and laser scanning technologies. This hands-on role supports new product launches, PPAP activities, root cause analysis, and ongoing quality improvements on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include defining inspection requirements from blueprints, maintaining correct part numbers and revisions, analyzing measurement data in ERP, and communicating

Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting required.
• PPAP process experience preferred.
• Strong communication and team collaboration.
• Solid shop math and computer skills.
• Root cause analysis experience helpful.
• Experience with Polyworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine part inspection requirements from customer blueprints.
• Ensure part-inspection programs match part number and revision level.
• Operate CMMs, FARO Arm, and laser scanning equipment.
• Input and analyze measurement data in ERP systems.
• Communicate results to relevant departments and address issues.
• Support PPAP activities and NPI quality launches.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
