The International Automotive Components (IAC) Group is seeking a Quality CMM Operator to ensure precision in automotive parts using CMM, FARO Arm, laser scanning, and various gauges. You will support PPAP, root-cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement, communicating results across teams.

Responsibilities include setting up and running part inspection programs, analyzing data in ERP, and collaborating to implement corrective actions while maintaining program deliverables through PPAP

Job Objective:

The Quality CMM Operator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of automotive components through advanced measurement and inspection processes. This role utilizes Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), FARO Arm technology, laser scanning equipment, and various inspection gauges to verify products meet customer specifications and quality standards. The position plays a critical role in supporting new product launches, PPAP activities, root cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Determine part inspection requirements from customer's blueprint features
• Ensure the part-inspection programs are consistent with part number and revision level
• Operate computer programming hardware and software systems
• Analyze and troubleshoot fixed-type machine set-ups and inspections paths
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure and inspect automotive parts
• FARO Arm setup and laser scanning
• Utilize ERP software to input and analyze measurement data
• Perform inspections using various measurement gauges
• Collaborate with team members to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
• Communicate inspection results and quality issues to relevant departments
• Follow PPAP process guidelines for new product launches
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues
• Maintain status of key program deliverables from award through PPAP reviewing weekly the status with the
