Focus is seeking a Program / Project Manager in Auburn, AL to lead new program introductions and launches, coordinating internal resources and suppliers to ensure timely, within-scope deliveries. The role requires collaboration with OEM customers and cross-functional teams to drive DVP&R and engineering changes.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 3 years in automotive program management for a Tier 1 supplier, familiarity with VDA standards and PPAP (AIAG), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in automotive program management for a Tier 1 supplier.
• Experience with Automotive OEMs and communicating with senior customer staff.
• Familiarity with VDA standards and PPAP (AIAG) process.
• Experience with automotive stampings and assembly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the development of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
• Coordinate activities with global colleagues to ensure an effective hand-off of projects
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and elevate issues to management as needed
• Successfully manage the OEM customer relationship with engineering, purchasing, SQE's and other technical staff to complete the DVP&R, resolve technical issues, and coordinate engineering changes
• Prepare gate presentations, progress reports, and present status to the OEM customers as required
• Responsible and has authority to take action to ensure that the Quality of the product meets or exceeds the customer's expectations
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Other duties as assigned by the General Manager
