Job summary

Camaco in Lorain, Ohio seeks a Program Manager to coordinate engineering, sales, quality and manufacturing for new product development and launches. You will drive APQP timelines, budget, and KPI tracking while guiding cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.

The role requires engineering or related degree with 2–5 years in program management or engineering, and preferred PMP certification. Expect hands-on involvement on the plant floor with cross-plant collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2–5 years of experience in engineering or program management.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing and launching new programs across multiple locations.
• Manufacturing or program management experience (Stamping, Welding & Assembly).
• PMP certification is desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across Engineering, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Support to develop and launch new products.
• Track program schedule, budget and KPIs, ensuring 90 days post-SOP operational performance.
• Direct multi-location teams and manage APQP deliverables and critical path milestones.
• Interface with management and customers to provide status and capture feedback.
• Lead corrective actions and coordinate program costs, labor and resources for successful launches.
• Communicate program status across plants and drive timely decision making.
