Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks a hands-on Post-Silicon Validation Technician to support development, testing and validation of automotive electronics and autonomous processing systems. You will work closely with silicon and hardware teams to execute validation procedures and troubleshoot complex systems on the bench.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in electronics or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years building or supporting automated test equipment.
• Hands-on with oscilloscopes, power supplies and DMMs.
• Experience with Jira for issue tracking and docs.
• Familiarity with post-silicon validation and hardware testing.
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets.
• Soldering and PCB rework experience.
• Basic programming/scripting for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with silicon engineering to execute validation procedures.
• Support post-silicon validation, hardware bring-up and testing.
• Operate laboratory test equipment and configure systems.
• Use software interfaces to control equipment and automation tools.
• Design and modify custom test equipment for automotive tests.
• Perform electrical/environmental testing with lab equipment.
• Calibrate thermal chambers and instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures and document root causes.
• Perform PCB modifications including soldering/rework.
• Assist commissioning and deployment of new testing systems.
• Use Jira to track validation activities and issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve tests.
