Job Summary

Porters will be responsible for transporting vehicles, tools, parts, and equipment to necessary locations. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth into other roles.

Compensation

• Up to $20.00 per hour.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with the field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Test drive vehicles after repairs and/or ADAS calibrations
• Transport vehicles, tools, and customers as needed during the repair process
• Clean vehicles as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by field leadership

Qualifications, Education & Experience

• Desire to learn a skilled trade
• High school diploma or technical school graduate
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and related technology
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass a background check
• Capability to lift 60 pounds independently
• Travel for continuing education and certification training may be required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
• Frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
• Extensive travel within the assigned area
• Exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
• Wearing PPE such as facial coverings, eye protection, and gloves is required
