Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter to maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation, transport vehicles and customers, and support dealership needs. The role supports Napleton Valley Genesis and offers growth opportunities within a large national automotive group.

Starting pay is $16-$17 per hour with benefits including health insurance, 401k, vacation, and employee discounts. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to operate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Ability to drive an automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by management.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom.
• Move vehicles from storage and deliver to storage or other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related clean-up and general grounds maintenance.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextPorter.Located at Napleton Valley Genesis, thePorter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
