Automotive & Manufacturing in Auburn Hills, MI seeks an Automotive Technical PMO Specialist to join the Cross Carline & Project Engineering Team. Onsite role focusing on program coordination, steering vehicle development programs, and maintaining clear communication across sites.

The candidate will lead change management, track progress with dashboards, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, cost, and supply teams to ensure convergence of product and process elements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Strong written and presentation skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Automotive industry experience at an OEM or large tier 1 in areas such as product development engineering, program management, finance, accounting, or quality.
• Program life-cycle experience and manufacturing process fundamentals understanding across multiple vehicle domains.

Responsibilities

• Assist Vehicle Technical Manager with program coordination, overseeing technology, manufacturing, quality, and cost.
• Manage vehicle composition to ensure core structure integrity and interchangeability.
• Coordinate creation, organization, and oversight of connections and fasteners; lead meetings and dashboards for tracking and escalation.
• Lead and facilitate Change Management processes, ensuring cross-site communication.
• Support convergence of product and process elements across welding, painting, and assembly by coordinating modifications and resolving major defects.
