Job summary

Gunn Automotive Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process payroll for multiple dealership locations. You will work with Human Resources to ensure accurate and timely payroll, maintain confidential records, and respond to payroll inquiries.

Experience with UKG Ready is strongly preferred; automotive dealership payroll experience is a plus. This role emphasizes attention to detail, data integrity, and strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma and payroll experience.
• Experience with automotive dealership payroll preferred.
• UKG Ready experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for multiple dealership locations accurately and timely.
• Review payroll information to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Ensure changes (hiring, terminations, pay rates) are reflected in the system before payroll submission.
• Enter and maintain employee and payroll data in UKG Ready.
• Review timekeeping records for hours, overtime, and leave compliance.
• Verify deductions, taxes, and benefits; maintain confidential records.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from staff and management.
