Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Amarillo is seeking an Automotive Parts Specialist to source and sell parts for fleet customers. You don’t need to rebuild engines, but parts knowledge is preferred. You’ll assist team members, provide excellent service, and help customers with parts questions.

You must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to learn all things auto parts; high school diploma or GED required. Airport shop environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or a willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical or Trade school courses or degree.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
• Ability to work around an airport environment in a shop environment.
• Background and/or passion for automotive industry and related equipment.
• Experience with cataloging, sourcing, or inventory management systems is a plus.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide and source parts for specialized equipment for fleet customers.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members and answer customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer service and interact with management and technicians.
• Bring customer focus and high energy to a fast-paced environment.
• Ask appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and sourced.
• Inform customers on parts availability.
