Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Parts Retail Sales Associate to help technicians and retail guests find the right parts and accessories, price them accurately, and support a high standard of customer service. You will stock inventory, maintain a clean department, assist calls, and create merchandising displays while driving sales and loyalty across a fast-paced automotive environment.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential; one year in auto parts and a HS diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of automotive parts department experience.
• One year of sales experience.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and assist both technicians and retail guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Obtain correct parts and accessories for technicians and guests promptly.
• Accurately price parts using the approved pricing source and document in the system.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and satisfy inquiries.
• Stock incoming inventory in the correct location.
• Maintain the parts department in a clean and orderly manner.
• Provide customers with needed information and upsell opportunities.
• Create and maintain merchandising displays to promote product sales.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
