Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY functions, parts knowledge and store systems. The role emphasizes expert product knowledge, providing DIY services, and achieving sales and service goals. 3–5 years of parts experience and ASE or readiness are preferred.

The position is full-time with responsibilities spanning inventory, customer service, and key holder duties, including safety and opening/closing tasks. ASE certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic ability.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiar with parts catalogs, source options, and advanced lookup tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities including task assignment and opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
