Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support our DIY customers with expert parts knowledge, store systems proficiency, and strong sales skills. The role includes identifying parts, troubleshooting, and assisting with special orders and service tasks.

You will handle duties from stock management to customer service, including opening/closing responsibilities, inventory counts, and maintaining store standards. ASE certification is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Must have valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of parts lookup and store inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers on visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities including opening/closing duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes including cycle counts and back stock.
• Keep store clean including floors, bathrooms, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installations and testing.
