Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to greet customers, help select parts, and provide top-notch service both in-store and over the phone.

You will assist professional customers, process payments, handle returns, and maintain store appearance and inventory. Multitasking, friendly communication, and accuracy are essential, with occasional vehicle delivery duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and installers in serving professional customers as needed.
• Answer store calls per policy, lookup parts, quote prices, recommend related items.
• Process exchanges/returns for credit per policy.
• Maintain cash drawer, accept payments, and process credit card transactions.
• Perform daily store tasks like stocking shelves, freight receipt, and planogram updates.
• Operate store equipment after training and meet requirements.
• Provide in-store services as allowed by state law (e.g., wipers, batteries, codes).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle as needed.
• Address customer complaints courteously.
