Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Alabama is seeking an Inventory Stock Associate to maintain accurate inventory, manage freight, and support store operations.

You will perform cycle counts, stock shelves, pull orders for drivers and customers, and use inventory systems to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional customer service.

This role requires physical effort, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous experience stocking, loading, or pulling.
• High School Diploma, or equivalent experience, required.
• Must recognize part numbers and codes accurately for correct placement.

Responsibilities

• Pulls all orders for drivers, as well as counter and will-call customers, accurately and timely.
• Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise; maintain shelving and product placement.
• Conduct cycle counts to support inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
• Perform general housekeeping and safety-compliant facility upkeep.
• Use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching, and fulfillment efficiency.
• Assist customers by phone or in-person as needed and coordinate deliveries.
