Job summary

The JOY FM is seeking an AutoCenter Parts Expeditor to keep our shop running smoothly by sourcing, tracking, and organizing every part that passes through the service bay. You will work with Service Advisors and Technicians to minimize downtime and ensure quality repairs, while maintaining strong vendor relationships and accurate inventory control.

You will manage part orders, verify deliveries, handle warranty claims and credits, and keep technicians and advisors updated on ETA and backorders

Qualifications

• Source and order quality parts from trusted vendors at competitive prices.
• Track orders, verify deliveries, and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to secure best pricing and reliable delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Manage warranty claims, returns, and credits with suppliers.
• Organize and track supplier invoices for timely posting and month-end reconciliation.
• Maintain clean shelves and accurate tracking.
• Ensure technicians have the right parts at the right time to minimize downtime.
• Keep Service Advisors updated on part ETA, potential delays, and backorders.
• Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
• Anticipate workflow bottlenecks and resolve issues before they slow the team.

As an [atc] AutoCenter Parts Expeditor you are the hub of efficiency that keeps our shop running. By managing the flow of parts from vendors to technicians, you eliminate downtime, ensure repair accuracy, and create Peace of Mind for our customers. Working alongside Service Advisors and Technicians, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, tracking, and organizing every part that passes through the shop—while upholding our reputation for done-right-the-first-time repairs and world-class customer service.
