Job summary

Westfield Ford, Inc. in Lyons Township, IL seeks a Parts Counter Person to deliver friendly customer service and drive retail parts sales. You will oversee the parts sales process from start to finish and coordinate with the parts team to locate items.

This role requires solid knowledge of automobiles, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior Ford dealership experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in auto parts or Ford dealership is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with a customer focus.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair/service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock.
• Complete special order part requests for customers.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow all federal, state and local regulations.
